1. To file your individual tax return we need for you to bring the following:

*Social Security numbers for all members living in the household and date of birth for any newborn
*All W-2’s
*All 1099’s you have received
This includes 1099-R/1099-Int/1099-Div/1099-G/1099-B/1099-Misc
(Please bring it in and we will make sure you are
reporting your income correctly)
*W-2G Gambling Winnings and losses
*Rental Income- Click Here and complete the sheet for each rental
*Any K-1’s you receive
*IRA Contributions
*Child Care Expenses (Be sure to bring the day care providers EIN)
*Charitable Contributions
*Mortgage Interest Statements
*Tuition Fees
*Student Loan Interest
*Estimated Taxes

2. If you want to incorporate your business we need the following:

*Name, Social Security number, and addresses of all individuals who will be listed on the business
*A business name you would like to use. Click Here to determine if the name you want to use for your business is available

 

3. In order for us to prepare your monthly bookkeeping we will need the following from you:

Bank Statements
Check Stubs
Petty Cash Receipts
Payroll Information
New Loan Papers
Sales Journals
New Employee W-4’s

 

4. The local IRS office is located at 1645 S 101st E Ave. Suite #226 Tulsa, OK 74128

If you are heading north on 169 you will exit on 11th Street and go west on 11th and turn left at 100th E Ave, just passed the police station, go south on 100th E Ave until the road ends and turn left on the access road and the buildings gate is on the left. see map

 

5. The local OTC office is located at 440 South Houston, 5th Floor

If you are heading west on the Broken Arrow Expressway from 169 you will need to exit at Houston Street go right two blocks and on the left after the second stop light. see map


6. Individual tax returns or extensions are due by April 15th. If you have to file a corporate return you have until March 15th every year to file your return or an extension. Partnership and Trust returns are due April 15th.

8. If you file an extension for your personal tax return and you owe taxes you will still have to pay interest on that money. IRS code states the following:

Interest – IRC Section 6601

We charge interest when your tax isn't paid on time. Interest is computed from the due date of your return (regardless of extensions) until paid in full or to the date of this notice.

Interest compounds daily except on late or underpaid estimated taxes for individuals or corporations. Interest is also charged on penalties for late filing, over or understating valuations, and substantially understating the tax you owe.
